Women own sex!
A few particularly active letter threads appeared on Broadsheet today. One was spawned by Rebecca Traister’s posting of misogynist comments she finds in Amazon reviews of Maureen Dowd’s book. This is like throwing meat to wild dogs — or, more accurately throwing other wild dogs to wild dogs. Gawker’s decision to link to the thread throws thousands of wild dogs in between two packs of already fighting wild dogs. Man, I love metaphors.
Anyway, what I actually wanted to post was this guy’s letter, titled
Women are the sexual selectors, the world is as they want it.
From now on, whenever I feel a little bit insignificant, I’m going to chant this to myself.
