Gawker [for the uninitiated, a popular New York media blog] clearly wants to be all jacking my style. Observe —

On Thursday, October 27, Gawker wrote:
A moment from the series finale of Tara Reid’s Taradise, presented without comment.
AND, on Wednesday, October 26, I posted some commentary on the lack of new developments in the Valerie Plame case . . . only to read a very similar post on Gawker a day later.
I often turn to Gawker for inspiration, but now that the shoe is on the other foot for a change, I believe it’s time for Gawker to grant me one of its coveted invitations to comment.
Do I smell a grassroots campaign? Perhaps a deluge of emails to Gawker, demanding that they give me a voice?
That’s all for now; I need to go look in the mirror and laugh maniacally.
